“Supervision” is the relationship between supervisor and supervisee that promotes the development of responsibility, skill, knowledge, attitudes, and ethical standards in the practice of clinical work. I provide individual and group supervision sessions for aspiring social work and counseling professionals working toward licensure in the state of Oregon. During supervision we will cover all topics important for your professional growth. My clinical supervision approach involves:
- Reflective supervision
- Differential diagnosis
- Clinical approaches and ethical principles
- Exploration of transference/countertransference/co-transference instances
- Work-life balance and self-care strategies
- Exam preparation
Clinical supervision offers a unique opportunity for growth as a practitioner. Supervision is instrumental in understanding who you are as a professional and developing what kind of clinician you wish to be.
